SmokeFree Primary Education Resource

This resource has the following types: Toolkit
Summary

This pack has been developed as a prevention/early inteverntion primary educational resource about smoking.

This is targeted at Key Stage 2 pupils and covers all aspects of the curriculum, with its main focus on Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education, Science and Physical Education.

Issues around tobacco and smoking will be encountered by almost all children and young people at some point in their lives. Allowing children to explore and understand the choice and culture that surrounds tobacco use is vitally important.

The aim of the pack is to provide the school, educational settings and associated partners to work together to develop and plan a whole school approach to health promotion, prevention and early intervention within the SmokeFree agenda.

Using this pack will help you work towards and achieve the SmokeFree schools award.
